Fantastic Handling and Smooth Ride
The Cayenne has always been enjoyable to drive, but it’s gotten even better this year. The two-valve technology of the car’s new shock absorbers, along with several other engineering tweaks, have optimized the car’s performance for all different driving circumstances. You can expect improved handling during tight cornering and even more comfort than before.
There’s also a new and optional adaptive air suspension system that’s standard on the Turbo GT model. This adds further stability while driving both on and off the road. The improved driving precision is very noticeable, especially thanks to the decreased body movements when you’re driving dynamically.
New Driver Assistance Technologies
Porsche vehicles are now even more technologically advanced thanks to new driver assistance features. When using cruise control, your Porsche can now recognize traffic signs and adhere to the speed limit set out on them. This optional cruise control feature can now also help you avoid obstacles when you’re driving between 31 mph and 93 mph.
The new Turn Assist feature helps you keep track of oncoming traffic and applies the brakes for you if it detects an imminent collision. Other driver assistance features have also received upgrades that make the security they offer even more comprehensive.
More Driver-Focused
The dash has been optimized to become even more driver-focused. You can now operate frequently used features using controls near or directly on the steering wheel. The gear selector has been moved to the dashboard. The 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster is also newly added, and it has variable display options to allow you to customize it to your liking.
More Entertainment for Passengers
The large infotainment system has all of its classic features, such as smartphone connectivity and native music streaming apps. The Cayenne now also has a passenger-side screen that allows your front seat passenger to stream video content, access various infotainment functions, and view the car’s performance data right in front of them. This screen’s display is invisible to the driver thanks to a special layer on the screen.
